Thanks to a generous donation of $50,000 from the Trottier Family Foundation, Aster, helped by a Digitarium Alpha projector, is now offering an astronomy workshop unique in Canada.
Sideral and surreal
Starlab is our flagship workshop. Guided by a qualified facilitator who adapt the content to all grades, participants enter a portable planetarium where they can learn about the daily and annual motion of the Sun and the planets and discover, under a 360-degree field of view, constellations, galaxies and a whole series of celestial bodies that make up the universe. Starlab helps reinforce and develop an interest and practical skills in science.
